I made some ideas when I was working as a contract employee. At that time I have sent those ideas to R&D persons. They didn't make reply after that. Now my contract was over and I came out of the company. I tried to contact those persons from my personal mail Id and asked them about my ideas result, and I also told them that I am going to release those ideas in "Common Creative License". Now, they replied that my ideas are already found by their R&D team. And they are saying that ideas generated at that time are company's property. I worked for some other project. But, ideas I found are not related to my work but they are related with that companies product. Now I am thinking that the company didn't pay me to make ideas in that area, so the idea's rights stay with me. Am I correct?
