My company is based in the USA, and sells iOS apps worldwide (which is the default). However, only a negligible amount of sales come from the USA.

Would stopping all sales in the USA be helpful in avoiding being targeted by USA patent trolls?

A U.S. patent covers making, offering for sale, selling, using and importing. Indirect infringement can be encouraging and enabling others to do any of those things. Do you "make it" in the US? do you use it in the US? –  George White Dec 2 '13 at 21:33
