Most service rigs in the Canadian market went through "rebuilds" in the early 2000's where they were updated to "guyless rig up", this could have been accomplished in many different formats from extended bumpers with hydraulic jacks, to pivotable from mast to ground and lots pivotable from the side of the carrier as mentioned in this patent. Stewart and Stevenson has been producing this style of pivotable guyless service rigs for over 10 years. There are probably over 500 plus rigs in Canada with a similar or different set up to obtain the same objective of a service rig utilizing outriggers over guylines.
