If so, you should absolutely patent the app as a whole. You shouldn't include source code, but you should include pseudocode or a flow chart: I'm sure there's questions on this latter point here, but I can't seem to find any. | |

The idea is pretty unique and I believe it would be big and thus that is why I am secretive about it. It is fully developed. Like I said the idea consists of two methods or algorithms. Should I go ahead and patent the entire mobile app as a novel idea instead of the methods? Will I need to provide my full source code to patent the application? | |
