A system and method for creating more exalted videogames and unifying game plots and subplots with heroic codes of honor is disclosed. Novel methods simplifying game design and deepening gameplay via “codes of honor” are shared. The Hero's Journey Mythology Code of Honor Game Engine is presented, as well as novel spy games, wherein players fake ideologies in word and deed to gain access to groups and subvert them.
